Don’t miss the towering Buddha statue at Wat Paknam Bhasi Charoen along Klong Dan’s banks. Despite pandemic-related delays, it was completed in 2021 after a four-year construction period.

There are several options for exploring Bangkok’s canals. We chose Wandering Siam and opted for a 2:30 pm tour, perfect for us as we missed being out in the mid-day sun and returned just before sunset.

Asiatique

Asiatique offers a unique fusion of two popular shopping experiences in Bangkok: a night bazaar and a mall. Located just a short distance from the Saphan Taksin BTS station, this former bustling trade port has been transformed into a vast warehouse complex featuring over 1,500 boutiques and 40 restaurants.

Opening its doors at 5 pm, Asiatique provides an enjoyable evening experience where visitors can leisurely explore the boutiques, shop for gifts, or treat themselves to something special. With a diverse selection of dining options available, satisfying your appetite is guaranteed. Nightly entertainment options include captivating performances such as Calypso ladyboy cabarets and traditional Thai puppet shows.

Warehouse 30

Located on Charenkrung Road, Warehouse 30 is a vibrant hub of creativity nestled within Bangkok’s bustling commercial scene. Developed by Duangrit Bunnag, this collection of renovated World War II-era warehouses offers a delightful departure from the city’s ubiquitous malls. Retaining the original charm of the warehouses with exposed beams and wooden flooring, Warehouse 30 now hosts a thriving community of local artists and designers. Visitors can explore dynamic exhibition spaces, browse charming boutiques, and relax in a cozy coffee shop.
