The Tasmanian Walking Company (TWC) is set to elevate the holiday walking experience with the launch of the Three Capes Adventure Walk this December, marking an exciting addition to its iconic trail. For the first time, adventurers can step foot on all three stunning capes—Cape Pillar, Cape Hauy, and Cape Raoul—transforming their journey into an unforgettable exploration of Tasmania’s breathtaking landscapes.

This new guided walk is an impressive 75 kilometres long, making it 50% longer than the existing Three Capes Signature Walk. Designed for those passionate about adventure, the route features a challenging six-hour return trek to Cape Raoul Lookout on the first day, ensuring every hiker earns their stunning views. Guests will also enjoy a night at the newly established Tasman Camp, a luxurious safari-style tent that enhances the wilderness experience.

Heath Garrett, TWC’s Head of Values & Standards, emphasised that the Three Capes Adventure Walk is not only about covering more distance but also about embracing the rich biodiversity and historical significance of the area. “Each day presents spectacular trails filled with diversity and intriguing stories,” he stated. “At night, guests can recharge in private eco-accommodation, complete with chef-inspired meals and modern amenities, including warm showers and cosy beds.”

The walk will take participants through dramatic cliff edges, ancient dolerite columns, and lush forests, providing a truly immersive experience in the heart of Tasman National Park. Unique offerings such as spa treatments, yoga sessions, and a cold-bath plunge pool further enrich the adventure, ensuring a perfect balance of exertion and relaxation.

As the 2024/25 season has already sold out, those keen to experience this extraordinary journey are encouraged to book for the 2025/26 season through the Tasmanian Walking Company website or via email at enquiries@taswalkingco.com.au.

With this new adventure, TWC continues its legacy of creating unique walking experiences while nurturing a deep connection to Tasmania’s remarkable natural environment. The Three Capes Adventure Walk is a testament to their commitment to both exploration and sustainability, inviting couples and solo adventurers alike to create lasting memories amidst Tasmania’s stunning landscapes.
