Look & Feel
Designed to evoke a sense of home, the interiors blend the expertise of StudioFab’s Creative Director and Co-Founder Matt Dalby with locally based French architectural interior designer Léo Terrando. The result is an inviting, contemporary, and uniquely stylish sanctuary where indoor and outdoor spaces are effortlessly integrated — ideal for Byron’s beautiful weather.
The Moroccan-inspired decor features woven pendant lighting, ceramics, and carefully curated artwork. Everywhere you turn, intricate details catch your eye, from striking paintings and artisanal wooden tables to brass Moroccan-style rugs and cushions. The highlight of Basq House has to be its stunning, temperature-controlled magnesium pool (available for guests only) which serves as a focal point for many rooms. Some feature a balcony with a table and two chairs, providing a lovely retreat, while others offer a north-facing Juliette balcony and a more expansive interior.
Whichever you choose, you’ll find all the amenities to make you feel welcomed like an old friend. The minibar is stocked, bathrobes and slippers are provided, and the WiFi is free. Freshen up with Mr Smith bathroom treats, unwind in front of the tv, or draw the curtains for a restful nap.
